Dr Aneta Kotevski is a registered and endorsed Clinical and Health Psychologist, as well as an AHPRA Board-approved supervisor in both areas of practice. She holds a Doctorate in Psychology from the University of Melbourne and brings over 16 years of experience working across private practice, public health, and rehabilitation settings.
Aneta is an accredited EMDR practitioner and a member of the EMDR Association of Australia. She is trained in both EMDR and Schema Therapy and has extensive expertise in working with Complex Trauma and PTSD, Mood and Anxiety Disorders, chronic pain, and psychological adjustment to medical illness and life transitions. She also works holistically with somatic issues, recognising the strong link between mind and body in healing and recovery.
At the core of Aneta’s clinical approach is a commitment to addressing the root causes of psychological symptoms, rather than focusing solely on surface-level relief. She supports clients in exploring underlying patterns, past experiences, and unmet emotional needs that may be contributing to current difficulties, with the goal of fostering deep, sustainable healing and personal growth.
As the Founding Director of Myndful Psychology, Aneta leads a dynamic and growing team of psychologists who are united by a shared commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care. She is particularly experienced in working with individuals in high-demand professions, including GPs, nurses, paramedics, other healthcare workers, executives, business owners, and elite athletes.
Aneta understands that meeting a psychologist for the first time — or transitioning to a new one — can feel daunting. She offers a warm, non-judgemental, and welcoming therapeutic space, where clients can feel safe, respected, and supported as they begin or continue their journey toward meaningful and lasting change.
