Sarah is a registered psychologist and clinical psychology registrar with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. She has experience working as a provisional psychologist with clients in university-based mental health services, community and public health settings, supporting people with depression, anxiety, stress management challenges, adjustment to medical issues, trauma and life stressors.
Sarah is passionate about empowering people and supporting them to navigate challenges and improve their quality of life. With genuine warmth, curiosity and compassion, she creates a therapeutic environment where clients feel truly heard, respected, supported, while being equipped with greater awareness and practical tools to manage life's stressors.
Sarah predominantly uses evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and aims to expand her practice to include Schema Therapy, EMDR and CPT.
Her research background studying individuals born very preterm has fostered a particular interest in women's mental health, including perinatal care, though she welcomes adult clients of all genders and experiences.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys exercise, cooking, spending time with family and friends, and travelling.
