EMDR Intensive Therapy Program

The Myndful EMDR Intensive Therapy Program is a structured, accelerated approach to EMDR that delivers multiple hours of therapy within a condensed timeframe.

The program runs over three weeks with twice-weekly sessions. It begins with an initial consultation, continues with targeted EMDR processing sessions, and concludes with a dedicated integration and review.

Following each EMDR session, clients take part in trauma-informed yoga, gentle exercise such as walking, or a combination of both. Integrating exercise with EMDR therapy supports more effective reprocessing of traumatic memories and strengthens overall outcomes for clients undergoing intensive EMDR treatment.

Benefits of EMDR Intensive Therapy

For many people, weekly or fortnightly therapy can feel too slow, especially when dealing with distressing or stuck memories.

An EMDR Intensive Program provides an immersive format that allows for deeper focus and more rapid processing of distressing experiences, anxiety, and trauma.

Myndful's EMDR Intensive Therapy Program is designed to:

  • Accelerate healing by providing extended, uninterrupted time to process
  • Create rapid relief for people dealing with single incidence and complex trauma, performance blocks, or persistent symptoms
  • Reduce the overall length of therapy while avoiding delays and disruptions associated with weekly sessions

Clients report a significant reduction, and in some cases, a complete resolution of trauma-related symptoms in a much shorter timeframe.

Dr Laura Chapman

Dr Laura Chapman is a General Practitioner and qualified yoga teacher. By integrating movement practices like yoga and light exercise with EMDR therapy, she helps clients process, release, and consolidate their healing more effectively.

Yoga for better outcomes

Yoga uses postures, breathwork, and meditation to restore balance, while somatic movement focuses on intuitive, free-form motion. Together, they provide tools to ease tension, calm the nervous system, boost energy, and release stress—helping clients reconnect with their bodies and build resilience.

Dr Laura will guide you through easeful, accessible yoga sessions. These sessions, each lasting around 60 minutes, are delivered online, via a video streaming platform allowing you to consume each session at your own pace. Sessions include warm-up, yoga postures, gentle flow, cool down, and a full-body guided relaxation.
