Jacob is a registered psychologist and clinical psychology registrar with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. He has experience working with clients across the lifespan in diverse settings, including hospitals, community clinics, and educational environments.

Jacob understands that seeking therapy requires immense courage and vulnerability, regardless of the issue at hand. Drawing on his natural warmth and curiosity, he creates a therapeutic space that is safe, supportive, and grounding.

Recognising that every client brings a unique set of concerns—from immediate difficulties to more complex challenges, Jacob works collaboratively with clients to establish meaningful goals aligned with their values. He develops personalised treatment plans that address both areas of difficulty and unique personal strengths.

Using evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-Based techniques, Jacob believes the answers to our challenges are not just found in textbooks, but within each of us. He invites clients on a journey of self-exploration, empowering them to uncover their own insights and strengths.

For Jacob, meaningful and lasting change is not only about symptom relief but also about fostering emotional resilience, self-awareness, and a deeper sense of fulfilment in life.

Jacob's key areas of interest include trauma and the connection between physical health and emotional well-being.
