Sophie is a registered and endorsed clinical psychologist, holding a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Monash University. She is a Certified Schema Therapist with the International Society of Schema Therapy (ISST), an AHPRA‑approved supervisor, and a member of the Australian Clinical Psychologists Association (ACPA).
She has extensive experience working across both public and private settings, including hospitals, educational and student wellbeing services, and private practice. Sophie has worked with young people and adults in a range of clinical and counselling roles.
Sophie currently works predominantly with adults. She is a warm, empathic clinician who places strong emphasis on building a secure and collaborative therapeutic relationship. Drawing on schema therapy, Sophie works with the understanding that while early experiences shape us, they do not have to define us or limit growth. She helps clients recognise and gently transform long‑standing emotional and relational patterns that once served a purpose but may no longer be helpful.
Sophie tailors evidence‑based approaches to meet each client’s individual needs, with a primary focus on Schema Therapy, while also drawing on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
